The TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship for College
Learn about Charter One's College Scholarship
Good citizens deserve help with college. That’s why we launched the TruFit Good Citizen Scholarship in 2011 to award college scholarships to students whose volunteer efforts made a difference in their communities. In 2012, we continued the college scholarship contest, awarding 40 scholarships totaling $50,000 to high school seniors and current college students across the country who are attending or have been accepted to a federally accredited four-year college, university or graduate program and who have been active in community service.
Give back to your community
Our employees are out volunteering in their communities regularly, looking for ways to give back. That’s why our scholarship program for college students is so important to us. Our college and university scholarships are designed to reward students who are focused on giving back to their communities through volunteer service. For these students, it’s not about volunteering to get into a school or to win a scholarship. They’re actively involved in making their community a better place to live and giving back because they care.
