Q: How do I earn Green$ense Cash from my Green$ense Credit Card?
A: Green$ense Cash is earned monthly on credit card purchases, after you make 10 qualifying transactions with your Green$ense® Platinum MasterCard® 1. If you have a Green$ense Credit Card and are enrolled in our Value Plan or Combined Plan, you do not need to make 10 qualifying transactions to start earning cash back.
Q: How much Green$ense Cash can I earn from my eligible Green$ense Credit Card transactions?
A: Earn 25¢ per purchase when you make 10 qualifying Green$ense Credit Card transactions that post to your account each month, up to $20 monthly and up to $240 per year.
Q: How will I receive my Green$ense Credit Card Cash reward?
A: The Charter One checking account that the Green$ense Credit Card Cash will be paid into is based on the following (in order of account chosen for payment)
- The Charter One checking account associated with a Value or Combined Plan
- The most recent Charter One checking account that was paid Green$ense cash
- The Charter One checking account that you are listed as the Primary Account Holder
- The checking account that you are listed as a Non-Primary Account Holder.
- If you have more than one account that falls into one of the criteria listed above, the account with the most checking account transactions posted that month will be paid.
Q: Is it a requirement to enroll in Charter One Credit Card Online Services and Online Statements?
A: Yes, to enroll follow these three easy steps:
- First, go online to www.charterone.com/creditcard and log into Manage My Account.
- Sign up for Credit Card Online Services and Online Statements for your new Green$ense credit card.
- Provide a valid email address to help reduce paper communication.
Q: What does it cost to apply?
A: There are no application fees for applying.
Q: How long will it take to process my application?
A: In most cases, it takes two weeks. However, it may take up to 30 days to process your application.
Q: Is the information I submit on this application secure?
A: Yes. We use the highest form of Internet security technology. This ensures that the private and personal information you are submitting remains secure and confidential.
Q: Will I receive some sort of confirmation after I submit the online application?
A: Yes. After you submit your application, a confirmation page will appear on your screen. It may take a few moments, so please do not interrupt your browser during this process.
Q. Is there an annual fee for the card?
A: No. You won't be charged an annual fee for the Charter One Greensense Platinum MasterCard®.
Q. What Platinum benefits do I get?
A: The purchases you make with your card have Extended Warranty Coverage which doubles the protection on most manufacturers' warranties up to one year. Q. Can I manage my account online?
A: Yes. Simply enroll in Charter One Credit Card Online Services. You can see recent and past statements, pay your credit card bill, check balances and more online. Enrollment is free and available 24/7.
Q. Where is my card accepted?
A: You can use your card at millions of MasterCard® locations worldwide – including online. No card is accepted in more places.
Q. How can I make balance transfers with my card?
A: It’s easy. Just use the Balance Transfer checks in your Welcome materials. You may also click here or contact our Customer Service Department at 1-888-711-8585 for more information.
Q: Will any balance transfer(s) I make appear on my next statement?
A: Balance transfers can take up to four weeks to process. Continue to pay the minimum monthly payments on the accounts you designate until the balance transfer payments appear as credits on those accounts.
Q. What if I ever have a question or concern about my card?
A: Simply contact the Customer Service Department at 1-888-711-8585, Monday through Friday from 7 a.m. to 1 a.m. EST or Saturday and Sunday from 7 a.m. to midnight EST.
