Charter One makes banking more convenient across Ohio with expanded banking hours at 25 seven-day supermarket branches across the state

Expansion adds 65 banking hours each week across the state – more than 3,300 additional hours annually

CLEVELAND, OH (December 20, 2012) – Charter One announced today that it has expanded banking hours at 13 of its 25 supermarket branches in Ohio, creating standardized banking hours at all 25 supermarket branches, which are open every day. Banking hours at Charter One’s traditional branches and its Starbucks locations remain unchanged.

With these expanded hours, Charter One has added 65 more banking hours every week in Ohio, or more than 3,300 additional hours every year, making it easier for customers to manage their banking needs and their busy schedules.

Charter One’s full-service, seven-day supermarket branches across the state are now open Monday through Friday from 10 a.m. to 7 p.m., Saturday from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to 3 p.m.

Charter One’s expansion of supermarket banking hours is the latest example of the bank’s commitment to making banking convenient for its customers. Earlier this year, the bank announced a significant enhancement of its online and mobile banking services that have made it even easier for customers to directly access their accounts around the clock, wherever they are.

Across the state, Charter One maintains 133 traditional and supermarket branches. Its customers also have access to 160 ATMs in Ohio and to customer service at any time via the bank’s 24/7 Customer Contact Center.
